Square Enix never planned to release this version outside of Japan. The Download Version features enhanced graphics and BGM, a new theme song and DLC to help you in the game. Second Evolution was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan during October 2015 and later PlayStation 3 in December 2015. It features newly animated cutscenes by Production I.G, a re-recorded soundtrack, and additional story elements. The game was the basis of manga and anime adaptations.Īn enhanced remaster called Star Ocean: Second Evolution was developed by TOSE, later released for the PlayStation Portable in April 2008 in Japan, and 2009 in North America, Europe, and Australia. There, he meets several companions and must stop a plot from an evil organization that spans multiple worlds before finding his way home. Taking place in a science fantasy universe, the story centers around a young man named Claude Kenni, a cadet from a space-faring Earth organization who is stranded on an undeveloped, medieval-level planet. It is the second game in the Star Ocean series and the first game in the series to be released outside Japan, arriving in North America in May 1999 and Europe in April 2000, by Sony Computer Entertainment. But that's not exclusive to the Emerald, or Princess, for that matter.Star Ocean: The Second Story is an action role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and published by Enix for the PlayStation. We saw the chair hogs in action too, both in the theater and by the pool. We are a little fussy about our coffee and don't care for the regular stuff they serve in the buffet and MDR, so we use the coffee card for the fresh brewed-made a trip to International Cafe every AM. The comedian, Kevin Hughes, was pretty funny. For the most part, we enjoyed the entertainment. Lisa Ball was the Cruise Director for our cruise-she evidentally also got off when we did(?). Because of my back problem, I was actually quite satisfied with ours as I need a really firm mattress. We've heard your comment about the rock-hard mattresses several times before. We had no problem with ours, but did have a problem the first day with the safe. A very nice young man, who does a great job. We were in E723 and also had Jayson as our steward. It sure was a lot cooler on the 18th than the week before-it was pretty hot and sticky when we were waiting in that long line. We got off the Emerald the day you boarded. Saw the Emerald in port as wew were getting off the Emerald.:):):) Thanks for taking the time to post your review. I am looking forward to the next cruise to Canada/New England Overall, the cruise was great, the weather was great and the seas, for the most part, were calm. It wasn't a problem, they let us off at 9:30 and we were at the airport by 10. We had provided them with our flight info and they scheduled us for 9:10 departure (flight was 11:30) There was an hour delay to get off this ship. I have no complaints about the coffee in the HC, tasted fine to us. We had breakfast in Sabitini's 3 days and it was excellant. The food, what can you say, you either liked it or you didn't. To be honest, I found them to be very pleasant and not pushy at all, but that is just my opinion from my own experience with them. Saving seats is still a big problem (not for me, if there wasn't a body in the chair, it was now my chair- Too bad) The trivia couple was onboard but I don't think they had any prizes for the staff this time for tips. These shows should be moved to the theater, at least for the first show as the place is packed. The comedy shows were excellant but if you wanted to get a seat in the Explorers lounge, you had to get there 45 minutes ahead of time. Tim Donovan was the cruise director - he has been CD on several of our cruises and is very funny. The two mattress' were uneven and they were rock hard. The bed was the most uncomfortable one I have ever had on Princess. I really think they need to put those big ice machines on each level since the fridge is barely cold. We had problems with the sliding doors staying closed and the maintenance guy didn't seem to know how to fix it - oh well, we dealt with it. We were a bit disappointed with the size of the balcony compared to the one on the Caribbean Princess, not very deep. We were in suite E733 and our steward, Jayson, was excellant. Embarkation was a breeze, it was actually very cool and breezy on FLL so waiting for the doors to open wasn't bad.
